Our last week in Seattle (I'm determined to finish these posts by the new year) was filled with last-minute bucket list items, binging on our favorite foods and wandering wistfully up and down the aisles of our neighborhood Trader Joe's.
It was also Lola's birthday week, which meant she got to set the agenda.
Her major request: a park with swings and slides and water for the fishes.
So that is precisely what we tracked down.
Magnuson Park is right on Lake Washington.
It's difficult to find a park that isn't absolutely breathtaking in the Seattle area.
My kids spent the afternoon throwing rocks into the water (well, James spent more time trying to eat them) and watching the fishies breach the surface.
It was a good day.
