That's how long I plan on being pregnant.
Doctor Checkup #3 came... and went. Still no dilation. Still no effacement. Still no baby.
Doctor actually told me to plan on going over. She said we could talk about inducing once I hit the 41 week mark. As in a WEEK after my beautiful August 4th due date.
I showed her my cankles, she didn't care.
Please kill me.

I can't believe she didn't care about your cankles. Some people shouldn't be Dr's.
she should definitely have given you some cankle pity.

i am really sorry though. two weeks ago i wasn't so much, but now i am.
okay! this is good! cause it just means she isn't baked yet. i was DYING with my 9 day overdue mark, but he ended up only being 6 lbs. 5 oz, and much smaller than that and he would have had to stay in longer.
you can look at it that way.
or i can distract you with cookies.
also, your cankles are pretty dang cute. tell reece you need some extra foot rubbin' tonight.
stay in the HOSPITAL longer.

Then go jogging on august 4th! (it worked for my dog!) She had her puppies that same day!
And I'll be praying that you can keep your nice pair of kankles,you know, they're starting to come in style!
