We ended our trip on several high notes.
High note numero uno: Peach Wave yogurt with the Atwoods.
Pomegranate, coconut, peanut butter, pineapple... I pretty much filled up on the sample cups.
But then, I'm a sucker for frozen yogurt.
And apparently so is my daughter.
High note numero due: the downtown Portland food carts.
My, how I love chicken gyros.
And strawberry crepes.
Did I mention strawberry crepes?
Lola wasn't as interested in the crepe, so she settled for stealing her cousin's lollipop for dessert.
You would have thought the Apocalypse had arrived when I tried to take it away.
Highlight numero tre: Exploring downtown and a stop at VooDoo Donuts.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the fact that dozens, likely even hundreds of people line up every day to eat fried bread.
How much do I love Portland?
Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much.
Thanks a million times over to the Lowes and the Atwoods for giving us the star treatment.
We love you.

Ummmm, what the CRAP?
You came yet AGAIN and yet AGAIN did not stop by to say hello?
I'll say it again, but with a period this time.
Ummmm, what the CRAP.
