Last week we spent a good half hour with the butterflies at the Pacific Science Center.
It was about 100 degrees and crazy humid inside the exhibit -- not to mention the fact that winged creatures make me nervous -- but it was actually very, very cool.
I expected Lola to be freaked, but after some initial trepidation she went nuts over the whole thing -- in a good way.
She carried around her "menu," seeking out the butterflies and flowers that most tickled her fancy.
It was sort of adorable.
The courage of my 2-year-old makes me happy.
She was devastated to leave, so we'll most definitely back.
