Because we are in the middle of a move (in case I haven't mentioned that enough -- seriously, drinking game anyone?), our day-after-Easter dinner consisted of food I need to get rid of eaten on the only surface not covered in boxes which happens to be our coffee table.
Since Lola's diet consisted of sugar, sugar and more sugar all weekend, we decided to fill her Easter eggs with one jellybean each.
Brilliance.
But it sure sped up the pace of the hunt -- seeing as how she realized she was going to have to work to get her fill.
It's a good thing the Easter Bunny was willing to extend his working hours for an entire day this year.
He (or she? What exactly is the Easter Bunny?) left Lola smattering of randoms -- more needs than wants, but she doesn't need to know that, right?
And yes, the pinwheel falls under the "needs" category.
The Easter Bunny apparently caught wind of my current obsession with "Gone With the Wind," so now I can drool over that dashing Rhett Butler and pine for Scarlett's wardrobe any time I want.
For the record, the rabbit brought Reece a huge jug of limeade since that's all his little heart desired.
Lola put her egg-chucking skills to good use and maxed out on even more sugar before we decided it's probably time to put her on a candy fast until next Easter.
At least she shared with the cat.

Lola totally scored with all that great loot! so glad you got to celebrate together as a family....now to dye those Easter eggs.... :) good 4th of July activity?
