East Coast Chronicles: Chapter One...

 

 

 I spent the first day in the city without my sleepy, somewhat cranky girl, who wisely opted to stay in New Jersey with Auntie Kim.

Highlights included a trip to H & M on 7th, where we found an adult onesie with a bow.

To think Lola and I could be matchy-matchy for just $12.99!

From there, we made our way down to Soho and the Village.

Those subways are NOT stroller friendly, let me tell you.

But there's nothing like people watching at Washington Square Park.

Or wandering down Bleeker.

Or exploring NYU campus (the business school photo is for Reece, who has yet to give in to my plea to apply)

Or cupcakes at Magnolia.

Or the watermelon yogurt parfait at Pinkberry.

Or drooling over high-end baby boutiques.

Or running into Jo from Cup of Jo.

Or scarfing pizza at Johns (though let's face it, Grimaldi's is so much better).

How I adore this city.

Almost as much as I adored climbing into bed at the end of the day.
