Yet another reason to love this sunshine.

Experiencing a new season with your baby is like seeing it for the very first time.

-- Also, how do I protect my fair little monkey from said sunshine?  Is there a sunscreen specifically designed for babies?  How embarrassing is it that I don't know this? --

The end.

It does NOT matter how many toys you put out. Babies will always go for the sunglasses.

I've been using Coppertone water babies. I got it because it said it was "#1 Pediatrician Recommended"... and it was on sale. It's SPF 50 and it seems to be doing a good job. We've got some serious pale in our genes too. ;)

I got baby sunscreen in an aerosol can (cuz I seriously don't see my baby holding still while I lather him....) and so far I love it. I read somewhere that baby's skin will soak up too much chemical so baby sunscreens are a bit more sensitive and less chemical-y. But I'm not sure how much I believe that....

Looks like you had a blast! That baby of yours maybe pale, but she's positively beautiful.

there's a bajillion sunscreens for babies. waterbabies, aveeno etc. etc. just look for something with high SPF and lather it on real goodlike. honestly, the aerosol cans are really hard with kids, and i sorta don't trust their efficiency. that said, i use it on wy's head (his hair is thin). the rest of his body, i use the lotion. that way i know it's on. :) enjoy! babies love being outside, and it doesn't stop.

i use coppertone. and i always have two hats in my bag. in case i leave one out. which is what always happens when i go to playgroup. then i look like the worst mom ever. and it sucks.

Abby, I'm being totally honest when I say it's Lola's FAVORITE toy. She plays with it when she wakes up and I'm getting ready. She plays with it when she's fresh out of the bath and I'm trying to get her dressed. Come to think of it, there are very few times when she is not playing with it. What I'm trying to say is, that beautiful toy is my lifesaver.

Bless you.

Bless you.
