Farewell second trimester, hello third:
This week, Baby is:
*roughly the size of a Chinese cabbage
*blinking her fully-lashed peepers
*doing back flips
*working up some delightfully chubby cheeks
This week, Mama is:
*watching her swollen feet gobble up the straps of her flip-flops
*crying
*watching baby kick
*crying
*getting used to her new role as an insomniac
*crying
I can't believe we've officially ushered in the third trimester! My little girl will be here in three months, or less.
The big news for this week is that Baby now has a place to sleep.
No, it's not a Costco box.
Not a drawer either.
We finally gave in and purchased a crib.
For a steal.
It pays to check the weekly ads.
Trust me.
Now we just need to put it together.
One chore down, four billion to go.

Happy belated Mother's Day girl!! Woohooo!! 3rd trimester! Can't wait to see pictures of the crib! So glad you got a steal too!
I hear you...I'm on the verge of tears at any given moment for no reason at all. And my hubby now affectionately refers to my toes as "vienna sausages." Sweet, huh? Congrats on the crib! That's got to feel comforting to have ready.

The crib was surprisingly simple to put together! Took Dillon and I a grand total of 15 minutes. The dresser/changing table combo...Poor Dillon. He spent 3 hours on it one night and 2 hours the next day!
You're getting close! Before you know it, you'll be in the 30's.
