It's been a busy week.
Saturday I co-hosted a bridal shower for my Italian soul-mate, Emily. I love this girl more than words can describe, and may have some serious issues once I have to share her with "that guy" she is marrying. I went a little overboard with food, so if anyone is in the mood for some key lime pie, come visit.
Next up...family get together. My dad's sisters and their families are in town this week, so we met up for some fun and grub. We made sure to include all our missionaries in the festivities. (I apologize for the poor picture quality: my father doesn't have the soft touch that my little camera demands):
Last night, we had a visit from our favorite New Yorker and world-traveling photographer friend, Mark Weinberg. Mark took our engagement photos and found a way to make us look really ridiculously good looking- that is serious talent. Highlights: a ride in the mini-cooper convertible...top down, dinner at Jason's, showing off Jack's insane "tricks" and watching Reece's face when people started clapping in the theatre after Hancock (gets me every time). We love Mark and are so thrilled he took a break from his glamorous life to chill with us :)
Some of Mark's finest work (have you ever seen such FAKE smiles?):
