Jessica loves soccer.
Reece loves soccer.
Lola loves soccer.
Going simply off the information presented in those three statements, can you guess where this family was driving when those photos were taken?
Real Salt Lake games are always a hoot, especially when the team scores three goals against DC United.
We frequented games all the time (OK, maybe twice) when they took place in Salt Lake City.
This was my first trip to the semi-new Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy.
(Not to be pronounced Riot Into, as Reece learned from a man trying to sell tickets to the Paul McCartney concert)
Anyhow, despite the fact that it's located in Sandy, the stadium is pretty great.
Mostly because hungry fans such as myself can purchase soft serve ice cream cones.
I think this very perk won Lola over.
We were wary about bringing her to the game, mostly because she's been Miss Tantrum lately, but she LOVED it.
She clapped. She laughed. She squealed. She charmed all of Reece's co-workers.
And when Grandma showed up to steal her away for a sleepover, she glanced longingly back at the jumbotron from the parking lot.
.
With the exception of the $4 water bottles and $9 chili cheese dog nachos (yes, Reece actually ate them), our evening with the Real boys was a hit.
Maybe next year we'll get season tickets.
Or maybe we'll just wait for Mountain America's next team-building exercise.
