Seatle playdates...

We've filled many of our days here with friends from the program.

Reece is one of two BYU interns at Microsoft, and there are several others at Amazon and Boeing.

They've definitely helped Seattle feel more like home to us.

Last week we walked up to the Kerry Park playground with the Packers, who are living in our building for the time being.

Lola and Bennett get along well, and James seems relieved to have some boys around.

I think he gets fed up with us womenfolk.

 The Hydes live less than a mile from us in a great Belltown apartment.

We swam and lunched with Shelly, Goldie and Hazel on a gray day (we've been having far too many of those lately) last week, and it was the perfect cure for the rainy day blues.

Every morning Lola wakes up, rubs her eyes and immediately asks, "So mama, what are we doing today? Let's make sure my friends come too."

Social butterfly, that one.
