Boat construction...

The Center for Wooden Boats sponsored a little boat-building activity for children at the festival.

Lola loved it (I couldn't have pried that hammer from her hands if my life depended on it -- and by the way she was swinging the thing, my life DID depend on it), but if you ask me, Reece was the really the one who's dream came true.

Now if only that boat was big enough for our family.

I've been swooning over the real sailboats in Elliott Bay.
