Today marked the start of Reece's summer internship at Microsoft.
I tried to convince him to smile for his "First Day of Work" picture, but as evidenced by the documented end result above, he just wasn't that into it.
Every party has a pooper...
I waited anxiously all day to hear how things went.
Did you meet Bill Gates?
Did you play Xbox all day?
Did you get to sit at the cool kids' table at lunch?
Reece is not one to waste his energy on detailed descriptions (you know, the kind on which I thrive), so he walked in the door, gave me a kiss and plopped his first-day spoils on the counter.
The mug and the water cup are fantastic, but TWO eggs filled with Silly Putty and Microsoft FBI glasses???
This company does not mess around.
It should probably be recorded in print that when asked how his day was, Reece's response was an animated "Fantastic!"
I think that means he's loving life right now.
So proud of that man of mine.
