We spent this evening in the Wisemans' backyard doing what we do best:
lounging, chatting, laughing, eating and watching the kids play (and occasionally try to kill each other).
It really doesn't get much better than this.
Did I mention that we ate?
Because seriously, we ate.
Since we are awesome parents, we also busted out the sparklers for the kids, which turned out to be a major hit.
Living on the edge is the only way to live, right?
Clearly James thinks so.
Thank heaven for good friends, fire extinguishers and cool summer nights.
Several additional things of note:
01. Lola insists on picking out her outfits these days -- thus the "eclectic" green and pink combo
02. The sparkler play was strictly supervised, lest you report me to child services
03. I am currently obsessed with root beer floats

You make motherhood look easy. You just had a baby yet you are always out and about doing fun things. I have a feeling this will not be good for my self esteem as a mother one day.
I mean how excited am I to watch my seemingly "special" child watch a sparkler?? haha
Also, this should be a weekly occurrence.
