My dear friend and fellow pregnant comrade Shannon's birthday was last week, so in keeping with our tradition, we met up at Sweet Tomatoes to celebrate.
Because nothing says "party" to a pregnant woman like an all-you-can-eat buffet.
We provided some serious entertainment for the other patrons as we tried to hug hello while holding our toddlers on our hips.
I'm telling you, these bellies serve as highly-effective comedy props.
As always, Emerson and Lola flirted the hours away -- feeding one another, exchanging tickles and shooting lovey-dovey eyes from high chair to high chair as they devoured their ice cream.
All the while, Shan and I gabbed away -- switching topics about 5,409 times as we always do.
I guess that's what happens when you both love to talk and don't see each other nearly enough.
