East Coast Chronicles: Chapter Three...

As exotic and luxurious as wheeling strollers around New York City in the pouring rain surely must be, we opted to skip that experience in turn for some shopping in New Jersey.

While browsing the giant Sephora at the Short Hills Mall, Lola discovered Marc Jacobs has ripped off her natural musk.
Thankfully, you wouldn't find this in a diaper.

We made sure to hit up another Jersey shopping mecca -- Chester.
This little town is New England to the core (even though Jersey isn't technically New England).
Antiques. Bakeries. Old fashioned candy shoppes. Consignment stores.
Oh my.

Notice the bright red sucker glued to Lola's tiny fingers.
The kid screamed bloody murder when the mess became too much for her mother's OCD tendencies.
But she had really, really cute red lips as a result.

After scoring some adorable black boots for Lola and the perfect, sexy red heels for myself at what can only be called the most incredible consignment store in the universe, we decided to let the storm win and headed back towards home.

It must be noted that as I was pushing (rather, zooming) Lola through the sleet from store to store, she couldn't stop yelling "wawa! wawa! wawa!" at the top of her lungs.
Smart kid, right?

We stopped at a lovely little farm for some fresh, local apples.
Turned out to be a fantastic Kodak picture spot.

Sigh.
I want to go to there.
