Since I work weekends and Reece works during the week, it's a rare occasion we get to spend an entire day together.
Today was one of those rare occasions, thanks to Martin Luther King Jr.
To celebrate, we headed up the canyon to our favorite little dive, Ruth's Diner.
Good food.
Good company.
Good times.
Lola was so excited, she filled her diaper, and then some.
As per tradition, Reece and I "Rock, Paper, Scissor-ed" it to determine who had to go into the war zone to clean up the catastrophic mess.
I lost.
Oh, did I mention Ruth's does NOT have a diaper changing station in the newly remodeled women's restroom?
She went from this [Warning: the following image contains graphic material]...
To this...
Thank goodness for the friend who advised us to always keep an extra outfit in the diaper bag.
Hope everyone's holiday was as lovely (though significantly less stinky) as ours.

LOVE Ruth's Diner! What a nice way to spend the holiday!
Still never been there. We've got to remedy that sometime soon!
And yes, holy crap, always have an extra set of clothes! It always always happens when it's least convenient, and when there aren't proper accommodations. It's insane. :) Like Wyatt's famous 2 minutes before boarding time blowout. Many casualties, there.
Oh Kim, how have you never been? The next time you are in town, we are going. And that's that.
Siiiiiiiiiiiighhhhh.
P.S. I am not a fan of the new remodel or the freaking buzzers. If I want those, I can go to P.F. Chang's or Olive Garden.
James did that to me a week ago!
