Weekend Update: 14 Down

It's getting BIGGER...

But still not big ENOUGH. I continue to look like I ate a few extra donuts for breakfast. By the end of the day, by pants are completely unbuttoned/unzipped, and I am unashamed. The key: long tank tops.

In other news, I am FINALLY starting to get that "2nd Trimester Energy Boost" everyone keeps telling me about. I was beginning to doubt its actual existence. Freaky Fact: the cramps I've been feeling are actually a result of my organs shifting. ORGANS. The baby apparently needs his/her personal space, at the expense of my insides. But hey, I'm just the incubator.

The kid continues to grow. According to my trusty baby bible, my little parasite can squint, frown, grimace, pee and suck his/her thumb. All essential survival skills, if you ask me.

We recently discovered that I am actually a little further along than I thought... so I am actually towards the end of my 14th week, and starting week 15. That means by next week's update, I may know whether I will have a daughter or a son come August 4th.

In closing, I have learned something the hard way. For all those thinking about popping out a baby anytime soon, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT discuss the names you like with anyone other than your husband. You will regret it. Just take my word for it.

Until next week....

it's okay. i like reginaldisaurus as a name too. people these days just don't understand real taste in naming kids. :)

Also isn't it weird that you poop out your baby's poop!?!? And - I loved discussing names with my parents! When they hated something - it made me love it that much more! What am I 17? I don't even care!

You are looking just as fabulous as ever. :) I know I count as "someone other than your husband" but come on - tell us what you're thinking?

I'm sure it's hard to have everyone mad at you because you're naming your child after ME instead of THEM. Haha, I was WONDERING why you didn't answer my text the other day...you are lookin good!

So, you're baby is peeing inside you??

Cute lay out.

Does your final warning have anything to do with our baby names conversation the other day??? I would be sad if it did.

Wait, whoa. You POOP our your BABY'S POOP?! I am amazed.

You look great though, even if you're pooping for someone else.

Also? I agree with you on the name thing. Alot of people know that I am going to name my first daughter after my grandmother. One day at work I told my co-workers that and one of them said it rhymed with a sexually transmitted disease. At that moment...I desperately wanted that person to GET a sexually transmitted disease.

In addition, I live with an intense fear that someone I know is going to name their boy the very unusual name Brian and I have picked out (yes, we already have names picked out..lame, I know), so I don't tell anyone. Except Kim and my mom, of course.

What about Lactessa? I've heard it's not very popular yet, but you could start a new trend. Or the majorly classic Mildred. It really just rolls right off the tongue. Love you!

NO. Someone stole your name? Oh SNAP. That's just not cool.

Lookin' good!

Ah, names. :) SUCH a joy. I remember texting Cabe suggestions and ideas, his usual responses were "you've got to be kidding me". :)

Bellaband! I'm tellin' you. One of my pants still won't button yet, and it's comin' in handy again.

"Not discussing baby names"... words of wisdom, Jess.

Congrats on being further along then you thought!!! That's exciting! I had a similar experience talking about names with someone stupid- I almost decked him, and then I decided that wouldn't be lady-like.

I heard a great name today. Thought I would just throw it out there.

Pervis Ivins.

That's got apostle written all over it.
