A few excerpts from week fourteen of pregnancy number two:
Appetite's back with a vengeance.
Ate steak. STEAK. ME.
Early-morning gym sessions provide essential energy boost (ironically enough).
Got in a few good, therapeutic cry-fests.
Not the bad kind of tears, more like the tears that come from sappy movies, beautiful Christmas music and sweet baby kisses.
Even more OCD about having the house clean than usual, which for me is saying A LOT.
Scent of my shampoo suddenly makes me want to puke.
Loving sugar-free jello with spray whipped cream.
Trying [and desperately failing] to cut back on Diet Dr. Pepper intake.
Definite baby bump has taken over ambiguous bloat.
Survived the blood draw from hell.
Highlights from week fourteen of pregnancy number two:
A 25-minute-long peek at my second, wiggly little munchkin via ultrasound.
Setting January 22nd as the date we find out if that munchkin will look best in pink or blue.
Looking at pictures of tiny Lola and really starting to ache for that sweet, tiny newborn stage again.
Looking at my grown-up Lola and realizing how much we are alike.
Feeling profoundly grateful to be a mama.
